Upcoming Events
We are going to hold a monthly Men's study meeting in 2007. This is open to Palo Alto chapter Men's and also to YMD's so please join us! We are going to study the new, re-translated version of President Ikeda's "Human Revolution". The park is situated in the foot of the Portola Valley with abundant natural setting, it's truly refreshing in body and mind.

Men's Division Study Hike
coming up in ....
usually @ Foothills Park
3300 Page Mill Rd., Palo Alto CA

beginning at 9:00AM (no gongyo - option to do gongyo outdoor together)
LINK TO STUDY MATERIALS
We will meet at the Foothills Park Interpretive Center (see map attached). The study material will be the Human Revolution novel. If it's nice weather, we will take a short hike to Towle Camp. We planned this activity to have an early start so that after studying for awhile we can enjoy the beautiful nature preserve. Those who care to can continue on hiking (the park has miles of trails) and those who don't can get on with their Saturday. We will conclude our official activity at about 10:00, and some will hike informally, weather permitting.
Foothills Park is 2.7 miles west of I-280 on Page Mill Rd. The rules stipulate that it is only for Palo Alto residents, but I've arranged for all of us to enter. We don't need no stinking rules, eh? Seriously, if asked say you're with SGI and you are blessed.
Because of the early start, please plan enough driving time to get there and drive carefully on the steep winding road. Cops set speed traps there!!! If you're late, look for us at the Interpretive Center or Towle Camp (maps provided at the park).
Let's make this beginning a truly memorable experience. The study of our mentor's philosophy, in the grandeur of nature, will make for a wonderful camaraderie between us. It will enrich our lives.
See you there!
